Welcome to the METEC up!date. Today we would like to remind you about the order deadlines for important services, for example waste disposal. Please remember that a late charge of 35 % will be assessed for orders received after 13 May 2015. You will find all topics and dates that are essential to the planning of your trade fair participation here in up!date 05.

Please remember that it is not allowed to operate your own cranes or fork lifts at the exhibition centre. Forklifts, containers and other heavy equipment can be ordered from a trade fair exporter and should be reserved as early as possible to secure loading appointments and prevent long wait times. The order deadline is 27 May 2015.

Waste / Disposal

It not only saves time – it also simplifies your pre-sorting: allow the experts to take care of your waste disposal. At the beginning of the trade fair, you will receive wastebasket liner sets in different colours that support effective waste separation. The service partners pick up your recyclables every day after the trade fair closes.

Full Service: Suspension, Rigging and Media Technology

Transform your trade fair stand into a modern eye-catcher: floating trusses, spotlights or video technology are always attention-getters for any visitor. Please order any desired services no later than 06 May 2015 online. And make it easy on yourself with our full-service package, which gives you everything from the hall ceiling to your stand from a single source.

Take advantage of unparalleled media presence: trade press from around the globe assembles at METEC. Make your products and services known with minimum effort and maximum effect. For example with a free service: post your press releases on the METEC Internet portal, allowing journalists access to your trade fair announcements for their pre-fair reports and articles.

Security

Here’s how to be ideally prepared for any risk: with accident and liability insurance for your employees, and exhibition insurance for your stand and exhibits. Hedge your bets in the night hours as well – get technical coverage for your stand, or have it monitored by security guards.

Traffic Regulation including Environmental Zone

This allows you to inform your suppliers in plenty of time. Please familiarize yourself with the traffic regulations on the exhibition grounds. You will find out when you may access the grounds, which trucks are allowed to enter and how the Düsseldorf environmental zone is controlled.
