News September 2015 | The NEWCAST Award 2015

Dear Sir or Madam,

A very warm welcome to you with news from the Bright World of Metals and METEC-tradefair.com.

It reads like a list of superlatives: The best substitution of another manufacturing process, the casting part with the best functional integration or the best technical casting solution for the expansion of technical casting limits. It was precisely this “best-of list” what it was all about at the NEWCAST Award, which was presented within the scope of NEWCAST 2015.

The focus here was on a console, a connection piece and a carrier module. What these innovations are exactly all about, you can read in September’s theme of the month: The NEWCAST Award 2015.

Enjoy reading!

The Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

The Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is certainly one of the most well-known operas in the world. However, those who experience the performance of Barrie Kosky and the theatre group “1927“, which had its premiere at the Komische Oper Berlin in 2012 and in the meantime was also hailed in Los Angeles, will be astonished: The presentation plays in a virtuoso manner with your own associations and viewing habits. The singer/performers interact with an imaginative animated film that follows Mozart’s magical music, and which makes the fairytale world, in which Tamino, Pamina and Papageno feel at home, come alive.
