Preheating moulds and dies quickly and homogeneously

Dear Sir or Madam,

A very warm welcome to you with news from the Bright World of Metals and NEWCAST.com.

Jumping into ice-cold water, just like that? That takes a lot of courage and is rather unpleasant. Jumping just like that in extreme heat? Somehow not quite as horrible. But still, it is good to be nice to moulds and dies, which are gently preheated before contact with the melt.

It is clear, tough guys need gentle treatment so that later on they can do their work correctly. And because these tools are used in both gravity casting and casting procedures carried out under pressure, the production process is a sophisticated procedure. With potential for improvements, as you will be able to read in the theme of the month of June: Preheating moulds and dies quickly and homogeneously.

Enjoy reading!

With its flameless gas burner technology, promeos® creates direct heating systems and facilities, which adapt to meet the requirements of the casting process and ensure that moulds are heated quickly and evenly without damaging the material. Overheating caused by exposure to localised fire is completely avoided, meaning that the service life of the mould is not affected.

Carl Buchheister – Pioneer of Abstraction.

Carl Buchheister. Pionier der Abstraktion.
Carl Buchheister’s important status as one of the pioneers of abstract art is undisputed. Being a close friend of Kurt Schwitters’, his work has been exhibited internationally since the 1920s. In the period of the National-socialist rule Buchheister was banned from painting and went into internal exile. After the Second World War his work opened up towards a decidedly experimental and versatile pictorial language closely related to Art Informel.
