„Stahl fliegt“ is a tradional competition, founded by „Forschungsvereinigung Stahl“ located in Düsseldorf 19 years ago. It highlights the bright world of metals and demonstrates "steel" with its best features.

With the support of the jury of the Confederation of the German Foundry Industry, the winners were chosen in the run-up to the trade fair in the following three categories: The best substitution for a different manufacturing procedure, the cast part with the best integration of functions and he best lightweight construction solution.
Volker Ritzel (Sales Manager Impro Deutschland GmbH) and Kailiang Chen (Managing Director Impro Europe SARL & Impro Deutschland GmbH) could be really happy, because they took part for the first time and tried to win all three categories. Their courage and their strategy paid off. Congratulations for category one the substitution award! Both mentioned their motivated employess and thanked all of them.
During the GMTN setup we took a look at several halls and exhibitors. Final constructions and tests are in focus everywhere, also DELTA is preparing their wide range of high performance sensors and measuring systems.
ABB Automation is known for digital, advanced service solutions. To show their special innovative systems, of course the employees are testing all day every detail.
Located in hall 4 at METEC we look behind the scenes of EJP. EJP is known for tailor-made production systems for the production of wire, bars, tubes and profiles.
