Sustainability is already an important factor in the project planning of shot blast machines. For example, simulations replace many time-consuming blast tests that involve logistics and travel. This benefits the environment.
During the planning and design of the machines, attention is paid to ensuring that they operate as sustainably as possible. Automatic shutdown devices, optimum adjustment of air sifting (cleaning of the abrasive), frequency converters for drive settings adapted to the process, and differential pressure-dependent cleaning of the filter cartridges are just a few aspects. The use of IE4 class drives is being pushed.
